I highlighted this work’s colours by painting the surface of a gesso-covered wood frame with yellow and black tones. Due to the 100 lbs-weight watercolour paper having a blank 3” border, I had to create a large open area behind the frame to accommodate the perimeter of the paper while only showing the actual painting.
